Regrettably, we are unable to provide the official figures from the Ministry of Transportation (MTO) for 2017-2018. On the contrary, in late November 2017 a Safe Driving Study (SDS) about Allstate Canada was released which advises that Ontario’s streets are becoming more unsafe. According to the SDS report, the regularity of accident claims in Ontario augmented by almost 5% in June 2017 as comparing to June 2015. But, on the other side, Toronto Police Service (TPS) statistics show that 59 traffic fatalities have been seen in 2017 as Toronto roads are getting safer.
2019 Washington State Car Accident Statistics & Reports
A driver involved in a car accident in Washington state that results in injury or death of any person or damage to property of any one person greater than $1,000 must make a written report of the accident to the chief of police, county sheriff, or state patrol within four days of the incident. That obligation is waived if a report is made to a law enforcement officer at the time of the accident.
According to the US Department of Transportation, there are about 5,800 train-car crashes each year in the United States, most of which occur at railroad crossings. These accidents cause 600 deaths and injure about 2,300. More than half of all fatal train accidents occur at train crossings that do not have active safety devises or have safety devices that are simply inadequate or, in come cases, have no safety devices to alert unsuspecting motorists. During the day, about 75% of car and train collisions involve the train hitting the car. At night, about 50% of the time, the car runs into the train at an inadequately marked crossing. The lesson here is to drive safe and expect the unexpected at train crossings.
How To Report a Car Accident In Ontario
In an accident that does not meet these requirements, you probably do not need to have the police arrive on the scene, but you do still need to report the accident. Accidents with damage in excess of $2,000 must be reported to the police, but may not require them to come to the scene. In this situation, call your local police department rather than 911. They will direct you as to whether you should file a report at the police department, or visit your local Collision Reporting Centre, if one is available. When in doubt, always call the police department for guidance.
Florida Car Accident Statistics
The state of Florida has a large retired population, which impacts a number of Florida driving statistics. To that end, while some states have a higher rate of accidents among teenage drivers, the state of Florida has a proportionally high rate of accidents among elderly drivers. As more people continue to retire down in the warmth and sunshine of Florida, the need for more stringent rules for older drivers continues to grow. While crash statistics vary year to year, the one (1) constant is that drivers continue to text while drive.

Statistics – accidents data
CARE is a Community database on road accidents resulting in death or injury (no statistics on damage - only accidents). The major difference between CARE and most other existing international databases is the high level of disaggregation, i.e. CARE comprises detailed data on individual accidents as collected by the Member States. This structure allows for maximum flexibility and potential with regard to analysing the information contained in the system and opens up a whole set of new possibilities in the field of accident analysis.
