Echo is a prime location with the cities of Hermiston and Pendleton less than 20 minutes away, and Kennewick under an hour away. With approximately 80 students in the high school, Echo High School boasts a low teacher to student ratio with small class sizes. Thanks to a successful bond passing, a new agriculture facility was added that features a classroom that includes office and lab prep room. The bond also included a brand new agriculture mechanics shop, with a new plasma table. A greenhouse, built in 2013, is featured just steps outside the back classroom door. Science equipment has been a recent investment emphasis for the agriculture program, which includes Vernier lab equipment, microscopes, and vet science supplies.
