Chelsy Davy waves good-bye to Allen & Overy — and the law?
Chelsy ought to go back to Harry. Big mistake to ditch her true love for the law, because he went dancing naked with a bunch of Vegas women when he was supposed to be with her or to avoid the publicity of being with someone famous.
Law may sound exciting for young women, but it is a hard career. As a woman lawyer of Chelsy’s parents generation who has worked for many years in big law, I can say without qualification – it is not worth it. Better to not have to work so hard, especially if one is as popular and has as good a social life as Chelsy.

This was a last-ditch attempt by Ashley, whose aim was to become chief executive of the company. Its shares were suspended before trading started on Tuesday. Linklaters’ restructuring and insolvency partner James Douglas […]

Other interesting titbits from the confessional interview include Davy — who sent shockwaves through Daily Mail HQ earlier this year when she was papped pulling a hair from her mouth — admitting she wanted to be a lawyer ever since she watched A Few Good Men when she was younger.

7 Things to know about Chelsy Davy, the could-be next princess
Charles Davy earned the bulk of his fortune from his holdings in a big game hunting business, only selling his interest when he was placed under investigation for illegal currency dealing. However, Prince William and Prince Harry have both thrown their time and energy behind conservation in Africa, including curbing big game hunting. Harry spent the summer in Namibia, South Africa, Tanzania and Botswana working to protect rhinos and elephants from poachers. Along with Will and Kate, he started the United For Wildlife organization, whose mission is to curb the illegal wildlife trade. Might make for awkward family barbecues.

Prince Harry to invite Chelsy Davy to William and Kate’s wedding?
