The exit exam is a graduation requirement for all Modern Languages, L&IT majors, and L&IH majors. It is offered during the fall and spring semesters only. It is to be taken during the student’s last semester on campus before graduation. If you will be studying abroad during your last semester, you must take it the semester prior to leaving.  It must be taken during one of the proctored test sessions on campus. It is a proficiency test which assesses a student’s reading, writing, listening and speaking skills in the target language. The scoring is based on proficiency benchmarks aligned to ACTFL levels Novice through Advanced.
